The existing water to air heat pumps system was upgraded with a geothermal system to provide primary heating and cooling. Water to water heat pumps were provided to interface between the geoexchange system and the existing building systems.
The upgrade is anticipated to save 64 tonnes of CO2, 433,000 Kw hrs of energy and $20,000 in utility costs per year.
