M.V. Beattie Elementary School

Designed to LEED Gold equivalent, this project was a new elementary school where Falcon Engineering implemented a horizontal closed loop geothermal system, utilizing a trenching method with distributed ground source heat pumps. Resource saving initiatives include:
- Variable hydronic flow
- Demand control ventilation
- Heat recovery from exhaust air to make up air
- Low consumption fixtures
