Ellis Parc

Ellis Parc is a 14-story residential condo project with retail on the first floor. Falcon Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical engineering on this project.

The mechanical system is based on distributed horizontal heat pumps with a boiler plant on the third floor, and a fluid cooler on the roof. Flow in the system is controlled by top of riser bypass EPIV control valves and a DDC to match pump speed to building load.

Due to water pressures, the building required a domestic water booster pump package with two pressure zones. Plumbing systems were designed to accommodate a tanked parkade.
