Chute Lake Elementary School

Falcon Engineering provided complete design of mechanical and electrical lighting, electrical distribution, communications and electronic life safety systems for this elementary school project consisting of a new 3000sm facility designed to LEED Silver standards.
Mechanical design included a horizontal “slinky” closed loop geothermal system with distributed ground source heat pumps. Energy saving initiatives include:
- Variable hydronic flow
- Demand control ventilation
- Photovoltaic solar panels
- Low consumption plumbing fixtures
- Occupancy and daylight sensing lighting control
