Key City Theatre

The Key City Theatre, located in Cranbrook, is a multi-disciplinary performing arts facility. It was built in 1990 as a renovation and expansion to Mount Baker Secondary School. But, as the mechanical and electrical systems reached the end of their service lives, it became apparent that significant work was required to improve efficiency and renew aging systems.
Falcon worked initially with the School District to plan a mechanical and electrical upgrade to the theatre, which would encompass air handlers, chilled water systems, heating, fire protection systems, fire alarm, lighting, and emergency lighting. As the project developed, we were able to work with a local architect to provide a fully coordinated multi-disciplinary project.
