The Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Hall was renovated to provide new training spaces and modernize the existing facilities. Falcon Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical design and construction supervision for the project.
The mechanical design included a new heat recovery ventilation, roof top unit and improved exhaust for the apparatus, bay and tower. The heat recovery ventilator provides an efficient air exchange in the firefighter suit locker area to help prevent transmission of odors and moisture to adjacent spaces.
The electrical design included new lighting systems, information technology systems and power distribution to new HVAC and owner supplied equipment.
